Bcr’s publication thought about giving you a dose of nostalgia. Taking a breather at Roodepoort Festival we spoke to one of the highlighted performers Khustar styles. Born Bongani Zwane , he struck me as a hardworking , dedicated and a people’s person who loves to engage with different people and learn new things.
‘Dressed all top notch he says ‘My current single is a piano masterpiece titled ‘Top 7 ‘ ‘ the concept of the song is about the groove, ladies and money’. He said. ‘The public is showing love on the song and they can’t even wait for the release date’. ‘I’m trying to achieve more about this song nationally and abroad. I want to be on the high rotation on radio , my target market is youth and I see the result’. He added.
Hanging out day by day, we make our memories in our own little way. This at Roodepoort theatre Festival we have met a bunch of amazing creatives inclusively KHUSTAR STYLES amongst the selected few. ‘I have experienced more at Roodepoort Theatre ,the love that people showed us was amazing , engaging with different artists who are doing different genres I really loved that moment’. He sighed.
In his conclusion about the support structure in the industry he says ‘Upcoming artists should put more on the work and their writing skills should be on top as well as not forgetting that school is imperative’.
