Three words that would describe the gorgeous Mosa Simphiwe Papa would be humble, resilient and determined!

Born and bred in the westrand Kagiso, a 19 year old model, presenter and aspiring actress is currently a winner for Face Of B.E.A and a Miss Teenager South Africa finalist.

She is in her first year pursuing her BA communications and media at the university of Johannesburg. 
When asked what makes her different from other models she said ” I believe we are all different in our own ways. As a person who believes in authenticity I would say what makes me stand out is what I stand for as an individual. I’ve always mentioned that I stand firm in education and youth Empowerment. This is our time as young people to use our freedom wisely to create a better future for ourselves. I think my advocacy makes me different”. She expressed.

She also shared her dreams and how to realise them.

“I’ve always had a dream of having my production company and that’s why I’ve gotten into the media part of my academics and the biggest dream is to become Miss SA one day (soon). I remember telling my friends in primary that I am going to build a shelter for orphans after I win Miss SA. That’s when I knew I am passionate about helping people and that’s why I get into the community give backs as a pageant girl. I also believe my dream of having a production company will soon become a reality because that is what I am studying towards at the moment” she added.


Mosa as known by her peers has drawn her inspirations from many for different phases in her life .

“I’d point out two. Firstly my mom, she’s such an incredible woman who instilled leadership skills in me. I love her. Secondly, Zozibini Tunzi Miss Universe. She came and changed the narrative of pageants and redefined beauty. She gave me a voice to also express all kinds of beauty, to stand firm in what I believe in and to take the rightful position as a young person with valid dreams. 
With regard to the pandemic and beyond she pointed out .

” Covid 19 has made us realize that life is too short and tomorrow might be too late and it is exactly what I have realized – The Power of NOW! I’ve always been procastinative but the pandemic made me snap out of it.
