MAWISA’S AUTHENTICITY MAKES HER STAND OUT FROM ALL THE GIRLS IN THE YARD.

Our society has always been driven by conformity. This behavior is in human nature . Conformity is the reason why we intuitively trust the familiar and pull away from the different. It’s the reason why “normal” people follow the unwritten rules of socially accepted behavior and support the conventional views. As a matter of fact, these rules and views that constitute society’s agenda are constantly changing, so a “normal person” is expected to keep up. As for the weird ones, the misfits, the freethinkers , the loners – they just don’t care. They are not interested in conforming to what is considered “normal” today, keeping up with trends, and following the crowd. They just remain loyal to themselves. This after we had a conversation with who struck as the quuen in the jungle, Ofentse Mathope Mawisa. BCR: 1. Tell us who are you and what makes you stand out from other Creatives? Evans GoldMen couture clothing brand partners with Fashion Ghana and Katiti Seychelles.

I hate the terminology of 'costume' because my clothes are not costumes at all. I think they're high fashion, avant-garde, and more couture, definitely, and yes, some of my pieces are not particularly wearable, but I wouldn't say they're costumes, I'd say they're more couture. Speaking to a fashion enthusiast Evans GoldMen who curate outfits for various purposes in the fashion industry. He is an urban and couture clothing brand inspired by African identity culture. Evans Yao Yakpo is the initiator and the creative director who have been influenced by various cultures since his early childhood in Lome passing through Cotonou, Accra, Abidjan, Shanghai, Lagos to name a few. Evans would be from the post-election violence that shook Togo in the years 2005-2006, unknowingly discovered his creative talents given the tense and chaotic circumstances that reigned in the country. According to the style icon , Indeed it was a problem to go out and make purchases at markets and supermarkets. Evans finds himself cloistered in the house with his mother who is three months pregnant. Since there was no lucrative activity to do, he started helping his mother with sewing for personal use. Since he was very good at drawing, he draws models that he tried to make with his mother. 'it was first of all a hobby for the latter. It was only five years later (2011-2012) that i have discovered fashion (Fashionweek and fashion parades) through the parades (Festival soleil) of Élima couture. It was at this time that i have decided to take an unconditional interest in fashion'. 'In fact, in 2013 i have launched the BAAGHY Corporation movement with my high school friends, which was a clothing movement with multicolored prints (T-shirts, hoodies) aimed at the trendy young people of his high school. Which was a success;

Award winning Dax Properla SA spit 21th Century mercury.

All too often our personality is nothing more than psychological clothing that we wear to hide our true self from the world. Bcr's online speaks to an aspiring 23 years old Mosotho Dax Properla SA going through the phases of life and finding gold in them regardless.Those phases often tend to leave a stain on our bodies ,minds and souls . He stops , giggles and say ' Well I try to inspire people to not focus on the rough parts of life but to learn from them and to always remain hopeful through all lifely events'. ' I am extremely enthusiastic about my current project since am bringing into it some utterly charismatic characters into my melodies through features. The name of my extended playlist is called 21st century mercury , the name is pretty self explanatory the whole extended playlist is based on all the things that happen right now In the 21st century and some of the things are emotionally and physically and mentally heavy sometimes when looked at through somebody else's perspective hence we find the word mercury for its heaviness so saying twenty first century mercury can loosely be translated as 'The Life of today is not for the weak hearted' thus am naming it twenty first century mercury. I am featuring the likes of Vick Tray, stevey J and Federal General' . 'The public loves my music many people including certain local artists who perform as I love my music and they tell me I inspire them to do better in their music and to always be hopeful in through believing in one's art'.
