Inspiration Behind the Song
“It was in 2020. I remember being in my bedroom around 7pm, listening to Bucy Radebe’s medley. God started speaking to me, telling me to record an album that would heal the nation. That year was difficult—Covid hit, people started dying, and my brother-in-law also got sick and passed away. Amidst that, God gave me directions, and I began writing new songs. God’s Promises is one of them, reminding people of His love and promises.”
