KAGISO, GAUTENG – Compassion took centre stage this past Friday as Mrs Universe Africa Runner-Up Ntibi Papa, founder of GINUTV, spent a heartfelt afternoon with elderly residents in Kagiso Extension 12, sharing meals, tea, conversation, and words of encouragement.
The community outreach initiative created a warm and uplifting atmosphere, bringing smiles to the faces of senior citizens who were treated to a delicious meal and refreshments while enjoying meaningful interaction with one of South Africa’s inspiring women leaders.
Beyond sharing food, Ntibi Papa took time to motivate and encourage the elderly, reminding them that they remain valued members of society whose wisdom, resilience, and life experiences continue to inspire younger generations.
Speaking during the gathering, Ntibi emphasised the importance of showing love and appreciation to senior citizens, saying that acts of kindness can restore hope and remind people that they are never forgotten.
“Spending time with our elders is a privilege. They have paved the way for us, and it is our responsibility to honour them with love, dignity, and respect.”
The event was made possible through the generosity of sponsors, donors, and community partners who contributed towards making the day memorable for everyone in attendance.
Ntibi Papa extended her sincere appreciation to every individual and organisation that supported the initiative.
“Thank you to every sponsor, donor, volunteer, and partner who opened their hearts to make this day possible. Your generosity allowed us to share not only a meal and tea but also hope, laughter, and meaningful moments with our elders. Together, we have shown that kindness can make a lasting difference.”
As the founder of GINUTV, Ntibi Papa continues to use her platform to champion community development, empowerment, and initiatives that uplift vulnerable groups across South Africa.
